The term corporate crime refers to all illegal behaviors of company employees, which may damage the company.
Results of studies have shown that far over half of questioned companies were victims of white-collar-crime in the past 2-5 years and that in over 60 % of all cases, employees of various hierarchical levels were involved.
On the basis of this information, the following personnel criteria are major factors in the defense against corporate crime:
